About Rebecca
Lizzie has long been inspired by tiles, drawn to their versatility and the endless possibilities they offer for pattern and repetition. Alongside translating tile motifs onto fabric, she hand-builds them from clay, using lino to emboss the surfaces and layer textures. Inspiration is everywhere, from the curve of metal railings to the delicate forms of spring blossom. Rebecca’s small-scale repeat makes it highly effective in a range of contexts, bringing subtle pattern, rhythm, and character without overwhelming it.
