Lizzie has long been inspired by tiles, drawn to their versatility and the endless possibilities they offer for pattern and repetition. Alongside translating tile motifs onto fabric, she hand-builds them from clay, using lino to emboss the surfaces and layer textures. Inspiration is everywhere, from the curve of metal railings to the delicate forms of spring blossom.
